Burkert USA Opens Third Charlotte Facility – Here we grow again!

“It was less than four years ago, when we opened our first East Coast presence in Charlotte” said Harm Stratman, President. “At the time we knew the sensible cost of living & doing business coupled with the area’s growth in the technology sector would be integral to our success, but opening the third location in Charlotte this month is very exciting for us.”

This new site, dubbed the “Burkert CNC Factory”, is dedicated to machining and building customer specific system solutions. In addition to new personnel and equipment; further in-house production capabilities and increased speed to the customer drove the need for this expansion.

“When we make decisions about how we grow, our primary focus is the additional value we can provide for our customers” said Greg Love, VP Sales. “When we opened our first East Coast location, it was to expand our availability to customers. Now as we expand into this new facility, we are again adding the competencies that are important to our customers and therefore our future”.

While Burkert has been around in Europe for over 60 years, this year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the US organization as a manufacturer of reliable and innovative solenoid valves, process valves, pneumatic actuation systems, sensors and controllers. Additionally, Burkert provides custom fluid control solutions in a wide range of markets including water treatment, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical equipment, biotechnology, textile, semiconductor and general industrial processing.
